Our next Hammermen Talk, ‘Barque Glenlee’, will take place on 27th April at 6pm, and will be hosted by Andy Mumford.

Glenlee is a 125 year old Clyde Built “standard ship” which has survived six strandings, dismasting, a fire, collisions, two world wars, a mutiny, abandoned by her crew and re-boarded. The talk is a brief account of this remarkable ship’s story, her importance in the history of shipbuilding and her rescue and reconstruction.
