Deacon Convener’s Charity Appeal – Summer Art Sale
(In aid of MS Lanarkshire and Cerebral Palsy Scotland)
CALL FOR ENTRIES
Now is the opportunity for all aspiring artists and photographers to display their talents by donating artwork to our online art sale.
We are looking for donations of paintings, drawings or photographic art by
Trades House Members, or by your friends, or family members with talent.
Donations will be sold in our online sale with all proceeds being given to
MS Lanarkshire and Cerebral Palsy Scotland.
There’s still time to get your brushes out and your cameras clicking, as the closing date for entries is Friday 30 April.
An entry form should be requested from and returned to jackie.mullen@tradeshouse.org.uk before the closing date.
Collector Nominate
At the House meeting on 24th March we announced that we would be calling for nominations for a Collector Nominate to be elected at the House meeting on 26th May 2021. The Collector Nominate will become Collector in October 2022.
Papers setting out the process which is to be followed for nomination of
candidates for the role of Collector Nominate can be requested from John

Due to the Covid pandemic the House meeting will take place over Zoom. In
the event that there is more than one candidate guidelines upon how a secret
ballot may take place will be issued prior to the meeting on 26th May.
The important dates for House Members to note are:-
- Nomination forms to be lodged by Monday 26th April 2021.
- Election will take place at House meeting on 26th May 2021
